The importance of energy saving today
ILSA Energy Saving System is a real energy saving system that can guarantee a real reduction in consumption. This has become increasingly important at a time when the cost of energy has risen exponentially. With forecasts showing no sign of a short-term trend reversal, reducing consumption will become increasingly important. It is no mystery, in fact, that refrigeration equipment is one of the most important items, in terms of energy consumption, both in professional kitchens and in the artisan workshops of pastry and ice cream parlours.
Consumption reduced by 25%
ILSA’s answer is the best you could ask for in this area. Thanks to the high efficiency of the monobloc refrigeration units and ILSA’s developed technologies for automatic defrosting and intelligent electronic control, consumption is optimised and system running costs are significantly reduced. Important insulation thicknesses for the body and door make a further contribution. In the various lines of ILSA refrigerated cabinets, insulation thicknesses of as much as 85mm are provided: the energy savings achieved can thus be up to 25% compared to the average consumption standard.
Reducing environmental impact
Speaking of sustainability, the environmental impact should not be overlooked, a front to which ILSA is equally committed. The strong reduction in energy consumption is in itself a significant form of respect for the environment, but it is not enough. ILSA uses environmentally friendly FREON, free of environmentally harmful components (R 290). The refrigeration cabinets are strictly CFC and HCFC free. In addition, the entire design and manufacturing process of the refrigerated equipment complies with European regulation 2015/1095 of 5 May 2015, which implements Directive 2009/125/EC of the Council and the European Parliament. The regulation dictates specifications for the eco-design of professional refrigerated cabinets, requiring manufacturers to test energy consumption under precise climatic conditions.
