Ilsa was founded in 1979 in Codognè, in the province of Treviso, as a small workshop for the processing of steel.
Responding to the needs of the catering market, it began to produce a line of neutral elements for pastry workshops that immediately met with great success.
After only a few years, the company gained a foothold in the domestic market and expanded into Europe.
To date, Ilsa has become a benchmark in the professional refrigeration market and exports its equipment all over the world. The company employs more than 100 highly qualified employees in a plant of over 12,000 square meters. Its technological and professional know-how is unequalled.
Our history
70s
A workshop for steel processing was founded in Codognè in the province of Treviso. The foundations were laid for the company, which today boasts industrialized production and worldwide distribution.
1989
The company moves to its new 6,000 square meters headquarters in San Fior. Innovative products are developed, such as the pizza counter. The company produces all ranges of refrigeration equipment and neutral furniture for pastry and gastronomy.
90s
The headquarters is implemented up to 12,000 square meters to accommodate a large laboratory area, with climatic chambers where to test products in extreme climatic conditions and create the best ranges of catering equipment.
1998
Ilsa is awarded the honorary distinction of the ADI Compasso d'oro, considered the most prestigious and authoritative international design award.
2000s
The range of refrigerated cabinets and blast chillers for food preservation is renewed and expanded, increasing energy efficiency thanks to the introduction of the new Ilsa Energy Save System concept.
2004
With the acquisition of Desco, renowned for its patented innovative pasta cookers and basket lifters, Ilsa becomes one of the few companies producing all ranges of catering equipment.
2015
Ilsa is awarded with the prestigious Smart Label 2015, as a recognition of innovation in the hospitality sector given by HOST - Fiera Milano for the design of the new Green Power refrigerated cabinet.
